Usually, we offer 3 kinds of silk:
- Habotai o5 mm (or Pongee 05 mm or China silk) - plain weave fabric, very soft and smooth, lustrous and supple, semi-sheer, very gentle next to the skin. This is the most economical silk we have, and we call it simple - very light silk. The weight is 19-21 g per square meter.
- Habotai 08 mm (or Pongee 08 mm or China silk) - plain weave fabric, soft and smooth, fairly sheer with a lovely moderate sheen. We call it simple - light silk. The weight is 34-35 g per square meter. Best choice for a long life of scarves.
- Crepe de Chine 10mm or 12 mm has a slightly "pebbled" texture with a gentle drape. It is very soft & matt, and usually, colors look a bit paler than on Habotai, but with deeper shades. The weight is about 48 g per square meter. This fabric is perfect for clothing.
